Thoughts and prayers for the Gruett Family! 🙏🏻

The Goodview Fire Department is sad to announce the passing of Chief Jason Gruett. Our thoughts and prayers are with Chief Gruett's family.

We will be escorting Chief Gruett from Rochester to Hoff Funeral Home in Goodview this afternoon. We expect to be in Goodview around 3pm. We will be traveling down 6th Street through Goodview. The public is welcome to line the streets to show support.

EDIT: The procession will turn off Hwy 61 at 6th Street and travel 6th Street to Pelzer Street. They will turn right onto Pelzer Street and head to Hoff Funeral Home.

Please respect Chief Gruett's family's privacy at this time. More information will be released later.

Insurance companies say they have been losing money in Minnesota the last few years because of an increase in hail storms. So they have hiked prices.
