Introducing Our Q3 Share the Good Partner!

This quarter, we're honored to partner with the Sean Ryan Foundation & Memorial Golf Classic through our Share the Good Referral Rewards Program.

The Sean Ryan Foundation was created in memory of Sean Ryan, a devoted husband, father of two, son, brother, and friend who courageously battled an aggressive form of brain cancer before passing away in December 2023. During Sean's journey, his family experienced firsthand the incredible generosity of their community—and they made a promise to pay that kindness forward.

Today, the foundation carries on Sean's legacy by providing financial support, encouragement, and hope to individuals and families facing brain cancer. Each year, the Sean Ryan Memorial Golf Classic brings our community together to raise funds for one local beneficiary family, helping ease the financial burden that often comes with a brain cancer diagnosis.

Here's how you can help:

The Wabasha Kellogg Scholarship Foundation plays an important role in helping local students pursue higher education by providing scholarships that invest in their futures. Supporting organizations that create opportunities for the next generation is exactly what Share the Good is all about.

We're excited to share that, thanks to the incredible support of our clients and community, Schmit Insurance Group was able to donate $1,000 to the Winona County Historical Society through our Share the Good Referral Rewards Program! ❤️

Every referral made this quarter helped support an organization dedicated to preserving and sharing the stories that make Winona such a special place. If you haven't visited the Winona County History Center yet, add it to your local bucket list! It's truly a must-visit destination for anyone who wants to explore our community's rich history through engaging exhibits, programs, and events.

This partnership was especially meaningful to us, as Brett proudly serves on the History Center's Board of Directors and has seen firsthand the important work they do to preserve Winona's past for future generations.

At Schmit Insurance Group, we believe insurance is about more than protecting what matters—it's about investing in the communities we call home.

Through our Share the Good Referral Rewards Program, every referral we receive means $25 is donated to a local nonprofit (no purchase required!). Thanks to our incredible clients, we’ve donated more than $20,000 to local nonprofits since the start of our program, and we’re continuing to grow our impact across both the Winona and Wabasha areas.

Now we're looking for more amazing Winona-area nonprofits to partner with in upcoming quarters!
