A Bank of Winona customer recently received a suspicious call from someone asking about their debit card. Thankfully, they recognized that something wasn’t right and hung up.

Please remember: We will NEVER call, text, or email asking you to provide your PIN, password, account number, or personal information.

After-hours fraud alerts may ask you to confirm a purchase, but they will not ask you to provide your card number. If you aren’t sure the person calling is really from Bank of Winona, hang up. You can always call us directly to verify.
