Please keep in mind - I am no longer a Remitter for Secretary of State. I have been reconciling that checkbook, all Secretary of State checks from our office have cleared. You will need to check either on line with IL Sec of State or call Springfield.

I am officially announcing my decision to retire. I have sold my insurance books of business. Those of you who have Wm King Insurance Agency will continue with Bill King and staff. Those of you who have Winnebago Financial Svs will now have Brad Taft and staff, Taft Insurance Agency. I hope you will join me and continuing your policies with these honest, carrying Agents. I have policies with both of them as do my family and I know we will continue with them!

Thank you for sticking with me during this tough time since Gary passing away on January 3rd. My girls have helped me talk this through. I still have a long way to go. Thank you from the bottom of my heart for being not only our customer, also our friends!

After nine years of proudly serving the community of Winnebago, our office is consolidated to the Freeport office. I am working from home, I answer emails as quickly as possible. I am continuing to serve my insurance customers and do what I can for license and title customers.

Today marks first day of tax season. Gary passed away very suddenly on January 3rd. Gary has been our only tax preparer for both Winnebago and Freeport offices.

Neither Winnebago or Freeport Financial Services will be offering tax prep services.
