Review your FSA documents!

Miscommunications and mistakes happen to the best of us. Before you leave or shortly after your visit, make sure to check that any updates are accurate and reflect how you operate your farming interests. This is especially important during acreage reporting season. Please ensure your shares, planting dates, crops planted, type of crop planted and intended use are all correct and contact your local office if you need to make corrections or updates.

Stay eligible for USDA programs and payments! Once planting is complete, call your local USDA Service Center to make an appointment to report your acres before the applicable deadline. Be sure to file timely acreage reports to ensure eligibility for conservation, disaster assistance, safety net, and crop insurance programs.
