This harvest, please share the road safely with our farmers!! When meeting or coming up behind farm equipment on the roadway:

⚠️ slow down quickly and early
⚠️ watch for wide right turns and sudden left turns — older equipment may not have blinkers or they may not be as obvious
⚠️ use extreme caution when passing
⚠️ avoid distracted driving!!

The hustle and bustle of harvest will be here soon! Now is a great time for farmers to review their insurance policies and make updates as needed. Here’s some things to look for:

🔸Are your farm blanket and scheduled equipment up-to-date?
🔸Are the values listed for machinery & equipment accurate?

Did you know⁉️ Most homeowner policies don’t just cover your house,🏠 but they also may cover your detached garages, sheds, fences, and other structures on the property. This is usually listed as “other structures” or “coverage B” on your policy declaration pages. The default limit is generally a percentage of what your home is covered for, but the dollar amount can typically be increased if you have more structures that need covered.
