I spent four great years studying and competing on the ice. After graduation, I signed a contract to play ice hockey in the Netherlands. I was extremely fortunate to have the opportunity to continue playing hockey for a living. Following my time in Europe, I signed a contract in 2003 to come back to the states and play for the Colorado Eagles. It was an honor and pleasure to play for a first-class
organization. With the Eagles, I truly learned what it takes to be successful while being a part of two of the Eagles' championship teams. I played with the Eagles for parts of five seasons before taking over their non-profit youth hockey program. During my eight years as the executive director for the Northern Colorado Junior Eagles hockey program, some of the biggest challenges I faced running a non-profit organization was not only managing staff and volunteers, but also managing the organization's finances. As a non-profit organization, it was imperative that the money was working hard for us, while also limiting risk. Along with the day-to-day operations of the program and facility, I also coached multiple teams of all ages. My transition to Edward Jones was an easy one. I was able to continue working with people, which I truly enjoy, and continue coaching - coaching people about how to best utilize their money to achieve their financial goals. I tell all my clients that we are a team and I am here to help coach you, the client, and educate you so that you can make sound decisions for you and your family's financial future. I have now lived in Windsor for 15 years. I am married to my beautiful wife, Elizabeth, and we are the proud parents of three wonderful kids, Devyn, Ryker and Lochlan. Colorado is an amazing place, and I am honored to be able to work with the amazing people of our community. Member SIPC.
