Nicole and Nathan Lamar created the non-profit foundation Griffin’s Gift after losing their son Griffin in a tragic accident. Every year on Griffin’s birthday to honor his life and legacy, the foundation has a birthday celebration and road race in Griffin’s honor. The 10th annual road race and family fun day fundraising event to honor Griffin will be held on Friday, June 26th at Danvers High School. Sponsorships ensure that the mission of Griffin’s Gift continues to help build families through the gift of adoption. The foundation provides zero-interest loans to families so that completing their family is financially attainable. For more information, please visit www.griffinsgift.org.

Shawn Kinyanjui has wrapped up his internship with us, we want to take a moment to thank him for the energy, professionalism, and positivity he brought to Wi******er Savings Bank each day.

It has truly been a pleasure having Shawn as part of our team. We loved watching him learn, grow, and connect with both our staff and customers throughout his time with us.

Congratulations to Shawn on his upcoming graduation from Wi******er High School, and best of luck as he begins the next chapter this fall at Bentley University. We know he has a bright future ahead, and we are excited to see all he accomplishes!

Wi******er Savings Bank is proud to sponsor and support the Danvers Public Schools “Wall of Heroes” project organized and managed by graduating senior, Sophia Hoctor. The Danvers “Wall of Heroes” initiative was student-led by Sophia Hoctor as a permanent way to honor the brave men and women from Danvers who have served our country. This tribute to honor Danvers residents who have served or are currently serving in the military will be located on the wall in the Danvers High School atrium.

Sponsorships ensure that this legacy continues to honor at least 50 Danvers veterans in its first year and continues each year with future nominations to follow.
