Well, maybe we should talk about it first... When you’re talking with a lender, know that they're really the money people in the transaction! So as a lender, you can guarantee one of my first questions is going to be, “Have you thought about a budget you’re comfortable with?”

Especially if you’re a first time home buyer, you may not realize the different, additional, and/or recurring costs of owning your own home. So we need to talk openly about those and get on the same page!

This graphic hits the basics. Remember, owning a home may come with some different costs but the ownership you’ll have and the equity you’ll build over time will feel priceless!
