April was a whirlwind of a month here at Republic State Mortgage. Our team met 23 families at the closing table as they officially achieved their goals of homeownership!

We are so grateful to each family that has entrusted this privilege to us. It's not one we take lightly! It's always a pleasure working with other professionals in our industry, but as we reflect on this past month we want to extend a very sincere THANK YOU to our team at Republic State Mortgage Company.

From our processors to closers, our appraisal team to our underwriters, and everyone else in between... it's these folks behind the scenes who often don't get the praise and thanks they deserve. Because of them, we averaged a 14.5 day clear to close! It's communication, cooperation, and a common goal that perfects our recipe for teamwork. We wouldn't want to do what we do with anyone else!

Well, maybe we should talk about it first... When you’re talking with a lender, know that they're really the money people in the transaction! So as lenders, you can guarantee one of our first questions is going to be, “Have you thought about a budget you’re comfortable with?”

Especially if you’re a first time home buyer, you may not realize the different, additional, and/or recurring costs of owning your own home. So we need to talk openly about those and get on the same page!
