Special thanks to Kentucky Housing Corporation for a wonderful evening last week at the KHC Annual Awards Ceremony! It was nice to be recognized as the 2nd Place Top Lender in the State of Kentucky!!!!

As I looked around the room I kept thinking we really are blessed in Kentucky to have so many good Loan Officers in our state.
There are not many accolades go round from year to year and while the recognition is nice, lenders get all of the affirmation they need when we see all smiles on a homebuyers face on closing day!

This business has helped shape and change my life so much. The relationships I have made is something I cherish most.
I reflect on this past year and am reminded of so many families that became homeowners, some never thought it would be possible while others were the first of generations.

Well, maybe we should talk about it first... When you’re talking with a lender, know that they're really the money people in the transaction! So as a lender, you can guarantee one of my first questions is going to be, “Have you thought about a budget you’re comfortable with?”

Especially if you’re a first time home buyer, you may not realize the different, additional, and/or recurring costs of owning your own home. So we need to talk openly about those and get on the same page!
