It’s spring time!!! Summer is right around the corner. This means a very active time of year. Softball, water skiing, hiking, fishing, camping, bicycle riding, road trips, etc. Do you know if you were in some sort of serious accident and you need a transportation like an ambulance or life flight, most likely your health insurance company is going cover very little of it, if at all? You know as an insurance agent, it can be very trying at times, especially when things hit home with family members. There’s a family member. I just found out he had open heart surgery last week. Going backwards, I actually had placed health insurance along with the supplements on him and his wife twice. The first time they canceled because he went back to work. In between time, his wife had cancer then they needed insurance again. I was unable to put the supplements on his wife because of the cancer. Then he went back to work so they canceled everything all over again. They had a hospital indemnity plan, which would’ve paid about $10,000, and a critical illness plan that would’ve paid $30,000. Now they can never get it again. I hear these stories all the time but it’s hard when it hits your family. People need to take a step back and realize things happen. None of us have a crystal ball.
