Welcome to First State Bookkeeping! My name is Dan Meyer. I am a CPA based out of the great state of Delaware. I grew up in the suburbs of Philadelphia before attending college in Ohio where I received my Bachelors of Science in Accounting. I will also be graduating with my MBA in May. I became the luckiest man in the world when I married my lovely wife, Maggie, in 2022. We are fortunate enough to be welcoming our first child this upcoming Spring! Outside of spending time with family and friends, I enjoy being an active participant at in our church, hiking state parks, and watching New York Rangers hockey games.
I started First State Bookkeeping, not only due to my interest in Accounting and Finance, but also because of my respect for small business owners. Having watched various family members who own small businesses, I noticed that bookkeeping was one of the tasks causing them headaches and stress. It took time away from being able to focus on the day-to-day operations of their businesses. My job is to assist you by taking on those bookkeeping and financial tasks associated with your small business, as well as providing insights that can help your business grow.
