The real estate market can be brutal right now for sure but you found the perfect place and hey look the roof covering is new as well! If the attached photo does not trigger any warning bells for you consider getting a home inspection. In this case it could save you a ton of headaches down the road!

Just because you could doesn't mean you should! Saddle valves are known to fail and leak even when installed in copper. This is one of those times when doing it right the first time is worth the price!

With agents, mortgage companies, appraisers, inspectors, surveyors and others involved a lot of effort is required to keep a real estate transaction moving along seamlessly and on time. Fortunately the homeowner had put a warning post-it note on the access door or this particular deal would have been delayed at least long enough for this inspector to go home and change into some new shorts!

This new sink installation looked GREAT inside the house! It's busy out there folks and things happen! If you are buying a home a second set of eyes can be a good idea.

This is a pretty boring photo really. Its an attic area over a living room in a 14 year old townhouse. It only gets slightly more exciting when you realize the attic was never insulated!
