We are so excited you are here!

Thank you for joining our First Annual Tulip Challenge! Our hopes are to do this every year! That means if you'd like , we will deliver bulbs again to you next year so you can expand your tulip garden.

The purpose of this page is to give you helpful information on when and where to plant your tulip bulbs.

Our hopes is that you will also post a picture of your beautiful tulips on this page, or tag Katie or Deanna in a post when they Bloom so we can smile too!

All tulip bundles will be delivered by this Friday October 21, 2022.
If for some reason you did not receive your bundle of bulbs please let me know and I will make sure to get them to you.

Helpful Tips when planting your 🌷🌷
🌷Yay you received your bundle of tulips from Katie and Deanna, Open the bag and let some fresh air in a well ventilated area thats between 50-68 degrees.

🌷Where to plant: Choose a spot in your garden where water does not collect and drains away. As far as sunlight goes, tulips grow best in full sun

🌷When to Plant: Right now is a great time to plant, Rule of thumb is to plant bulbs after the first frost which is when the soil temperature drops below 55 degrees.

🌷 How to plant: To create your own mini tulip field, plant them 3"-6" apart and each bulb should be 6"-8" deep. When placing bulbs in the soil, make sure the point is straight up! If you find your soil is dry during planting time , water thoroughly after planting. Rain/snow should take care of the bulbs water needs during the winter and early spring.

🌷🌷 Planting Hack🌷🌷
Instead of planting bulbs in individual holes, dig a trench or any shape you desire such as a square or circle. Once the bulbs are in place, cover with soil. Bulbs in groups are more appealing to the eye and add an impact of drama.
