Did you know that Mortgage Protection is not included in your Mortgage plan when you buy or refinance your home? A lot of people, especially older clients who may be purchasing their 2nd, 3rd, or 4th homes assume it is part of the process of obtaining a mortgage because that's how it used to be. That is no longer the case.

Lenders will require that you have Mortgage Insurance, but that only protects them in the event of loss. Mortgage Protection is there for you and your family in the event of death or disability, to provide peace of mind when it comes to dealing with final expenses.

Little bit of info about my process, because I know the thought of shopping for insurance coverage can be daunting, but I am here to make it as simple as possible for everyone involved! Once you've contacted me via Facebook or by booking an appointment through Calendly and set up a good time for the initial call the process is as follows:

1st phone call - 30 minute call for initial introduction, retrieve basic information on things like health, family, finance/mortgage (depending on the type of coverage needed).

2nd phone call/zoom - This is will be where I share all of the policies I was able to find that fit your unique situation. We go over specific coverages, payouts, benefits, and cost. If we come to an agreement on what works best I simply submit the application over to the carrier and wait for approval or next steps.

Once approved and premium paid, your step into a more worry free life begins.
