🍽 What is your favorite LOCAL restaurant?

"Francesca's Hole in the Wall - Italian is my favorite kind of food. I'm always down for pasta. Plus, it's a really nice, cozy atmosphere and the staff are always very polite."

👩‍💼How would you describe your first year working in the insurance industry?

"It's been very educational - I've learned a lot working in this industry. I've come to appreciate how much effort a good insurance agent will put into taking care of you. It's been very enlightening and eye-opening, learning more about risks like cyber - a topic I would not have typically sought out to learn myself. As far as working at Secure Futures, the environment has been lovely. We have fun!"

⏰ What kind of things do you like to do for fun in your free time?

"I love spending time with my family, whether it's relaxing at home, visiting a new museum or exploring the wilderness. I also enjoy playing volleyball. I also have a bit of a green thumb and enjoy spending time in my garden growing and sharing a plethora of produce with my friends and family."

🎭FUN FACT: Secure Futures' own Bill Ieuter Sr. has been rocking the stage for a whopping 75 years! Bill's a huge believer in the power of theatre for kids. He says it's a blast that builds confidence, poise, and friendships, all while sharpening speaking, musical, and even athletic skills.

📣 Calling all young baseball enthusiasts! 🌟 Registration is now OPEN for the Wilmette Baseball Association's 2024 Intro to Baseball (Kindergarten & 1st Grade) spring league! ⚾️🌷

🌈 Our friends at the Wilmette Baseball Association and all their wonderful volunteers work hard to make each league a fun and memorable experience for all! ⚾️❤️

🗓️ Mark your calendars: The season runs from April 20th to June 22nd, giving your little sluggers plenty of time to showcase their skills and have a blast on the field! Each team will play 6 exciting games, filled with cheers and high-fives. 🙌

💲 The cost to register is $275 and the league is focused on learning the FUNdamentals of baseball and developing an atmosphere of fun while learning the game. Don't miss out on this incredible opportunity for your child to learn, grow, and make friends in a supportive and fun environment! 🌈

As the weather gets colder and the days shorter, contemplating how we are addressing our own mind and body wellness may be worthwhile.

Our President, Charlie Ieuter, attends classes at yogaview and enjoys the relaxation and stress reduction, especially when pairing his focus on breathing during the sessions.

In advance of Veteran's Day, we wanted to share some words from founder Bill Ieuter, a Marine veteran himself:

"While I was treated well as a veteran, many veterans were not. Because of the unpopularity of the Vietnam War, those who served in the 1960’s and 1970’s were not treated well. And that is a real shame as many of them were drafted and had no choice.

Today every veteran is respected for their service. You don’t know how good it makes a veteran feel to hear, 'Thank you for your service,' especially after what many veterans went through during the Vietnam War. I am mighty proud to have served my country.

Make a veteran happy. Thank them for their service."

We'll have goodies for the kids, too!
