Our May The Willmar Kindness Project was for Hope Pregnancy Center. We have worked with their mission in the past and am always amazed by the work they do and how each person working there understands and promotes the mission. We put together some gift bags for newly expectant mothers and Crystal, and I enjoyed shopping and discussing the items we wanted to pack in these bags. We were also intrigued by their blessing box and the items they have in there. We are lucky to have this resource here in Willmar! ✨💜

✨❤ Today is another anniversary for me here at State Farm. I can hardly believe that 37 years ago I walked into my office for the first time as an official State Farm agent. Time goes by so quickly! I have been blessed over the years with wonderful team members and amazing policyholders. I’ve gotten to know families and their histories and seen them at their best and at their worst and thrilled to be there for both. I wrinkled my nose when my husband Larry suggested interviewing with State Farm, but with his persistence because of his auto accident and how he was treated, he knew it was an amazing opportunity. Cheers to 37! ✨❤

I had a great time meeting with Mac and Rhonda Habicht from Bethel Church to listen about a foundation that they are passionate about. After a tragic loss of a grandson, they became involved with Wishes & More, which is a Minnesota based organization. Wishes & More does wish granting, scholarships, and memorials for kids from birth to age 19. It was heartbreaking and heartwarming to hear about their experiences with the program. Bethel is raising money this April and May for Wishes and we were glad to learn about the mission and help out with a donation. Here is the website if you want to learn more, wishesandmore.org.
