🎣Outside of the office, Tammie enjoys fishing, hunting, and spending time with her three Labs - Vayda, Gemma, and Stella! Whether it's going for walks or taking her furry companions for rides, she loves spending time with them.

Staying informed on the latest updates, plan information, and industry changes helps our Team better serve our clients as they navigate their benefits options.

We're excited to bring what we learned back to our clients and continue helping individuals, families, and businesses find coverage that fits their needs.

Today, we pause to remember the lives lost on September 11, 2001, and to honor the courage of the first responders, service members, and ordinary Americans who stepped forward in the face of unimaginable tragedy.

We remember those who never made it home.

We honor those who ran toward danger to help others.

And we will never forget the strength and unity shown in the days that followed.

May we continue to carry that spirit of compassion, courage, and service with us.

Outside of work, family is at the heart of Amber's world.💙As part of a military family, she understands the importance of supporting one another, staying connected, and making the most of time together.

When she's not helping our clients, you might find Amber spending time with her family, hunting for a great thrift-store find, or planning a little Disney Magic! 🏰✨She's a true Disney enthusiast and always enjoys a reason to add a little fun and adventure to life.

🌟Growing Leaders. Strengthening Teams. Investing in Our Community.🌟

We're proud to recognize Tricia Herrera, our Benefits Leader, for once again participating in the Global Leadership Summit, a two-day leadership development experience that brings together leaders from businesses, nonprofits, churches, schools, and communities around the world.

For approximately 10 years, Tricia has represented Garrett Insurance at the Summit hosted locally by Holy Ghost Lutheran Church in Fredericksburg, which as been a host site for about 15 years. The event provides local leaders with an opportunity to step away from the everyday and focus on learning, growing, and becoming better leaders for the people they serve.

This year's speakers challenged attendees to think differently about leadership, communication, workplace culture, and the kind of environment we create for our teams.

We're grateful for Tricia's continued commitment to learning and leadership, as well as the many volunteers at Holy Ghost Lutheran Church who invest their time to make this experience available to leaders in our community.

This month, we're excited to introduce April Hinton, Garrett Insurance Agency's Director of Carrier Operations & Onboarding!

April recently made the move from North Carolina to San Angelo and is proud to call West Texas her home. She is passionate about supporting our Team, improving the client experience, and helping ensure our offices have the tools and resources they need to serve our communities.

Outside of work, you will find her exploring West Texas with her two dogs, and relaxing with paint-by-numbers projects.

Fun Fact: April loves organizing, solving problems, and finding better ways to do things. If there's an opportunity to make a process smoother or improve the customer experience, she's always ready to jump in!
