🚨 Important Update for All New York Drivers 🚨
Temporary NYS DMV System Shutdown – Expect Delays on Quotes Requiring MVRs
New York State DMV will be shutting down statewide for a scheduled system upgrade beginning Friday, February 13 at 2:00 p.m. through Wednesday, February 18.
During this time, Motor Vehicle Reports (MVRs) cannot be ordered or processed by any insurance carrier. This impacts our ability to finalize certain quotes and issue new business that requires an MVR.
🔎 What this means for you:
We can still provide quotes, but anything requiring an MVR may be delayed until the DMV system comes back online.
We can still bind policies only if an MVR was previously completed and is still valid.
If you have an outstanding quote, this may temporarily slow things down.
⏳ Recommendation:
If you need coverage that requires an MVR, please reach out before Friday at 2:00 p.m. so we can try to run it ahead of the shutdown.
We're here to help you navigate this—we’ll keep things moving as best we can and update you once DMV services resume.
If you have any questions, feel free to reach out! 👍
