🚨 IMPORTANT BRIDGE & RIVER CLOSURES TO BE AWARE OF 🚨

We know it’s the year we’ve ALL been waiting for — the 50th Ohio River Sternwheel Festival! 🎉🚢

And you know what that means… it’s time for our AMAZING 50th Anniversary Fireworks Show! 🎆

This year’s show will include the return of the spectacular fireworks waterfall over the Williamstown Bridge, PLUS an exciting NEW addition for our 50th year — an Aviation & Drone Spectacular! ✈️✨🎆

We want everyone to enjoy an unforgettable show, but as always, SAFETY COMES FIRST! Please take note of these important closures for Saturday, September 12:

🌉 WILLIAMSTOWN BRIDGE CLOSURES

🚶 Pedestrian Traffic: The Williamstown Bridge will be CLOSED to pedestrians from 9:00 a.m.–10:40 p.m.

🚗 Vehicle Traffic: The Williamstown Bridge will be CLOSED to vehicle traffic in BOTH directions from 9:00–10:40 p.m.

🚤 OHIO RIVER CLOSURE

The Ohio River will be CLOSED to boat traffic in the area of the fireworks beginning at 8:00 p.m.

🗺️ Please see the map below for the designated river closure area.
The river is expected to REOPEN to boat traffic in both directions at approximately 10:30 p.m.

🎆 Fireworks begin at 9:30 p.m.!

⚠️ PLEASE NOTE: All reopening times are tentative and subject to change based on safety conditions. Please plan accordingly and allow extra time when traveling in the area.

Please plan ahead, spread the word, and help us keep everyone safe as we celebrate 50 incredible years on the river! 🚢🎆❤️
