Thanks to Jason Brown at Prudential, I had the unique opportunity to attend "Kades-Margolis Day at the Nasdaq" a few weeks ago.
The day included great professional development sessions and incredible views of New York City from the 27th floor of the Nasdaq building at Times Square, and ended with us attending the Nasdaq's closing bell ceremony!
(congrats to SEI Investments Company on having the honor of ringing the closing bell that day!)
One of the highlights came during a break later in the day. We'd gone to an outdoor patio on the 30th floor for some sunshine and realized that we were eye-level with the New Year's Eve ball! Having only ever seen the ball on TV or by looking way up from Times Square, this was a very cool experience.
There was also a funny coincidence at the start of the day: one of our Nasdaq hosts was wearing the exact same sports coat as me. It's a unique jacket and both of us commented that we'd never seen anyone else wearing it before. What are the odds?
Enjoy these photos from the day!
