honestly, I hear this all the time. People are sitting on the sidelines thinking they need $80K, $100K, or more sitting in the bank before they can even consider buying. Meanwhile, there are loan options that may allow qualified buyers to put down significantly less than 20%. And no—putting less than 20% down doesn't automatically mean it's the right move for you. But assuming you need 20% and never even checking? That could be keeping you from a conversation you should've had years ago. You don't need to be ready to buy tomorrow.
