⚠️ They Will Try Anything ⚠️
Scammers are constantly finding new ways to trick people into sharing personal and financial information. Before you click, call back, or provide details, take a moment to verify the source. A little caution can save a lot of headaches.
⚠️ Remember:
• Law enforcement will never demand payment over the phone.
• No legitimate court or law enforcement agency will require payment by gift card, cryptocurrency, payment app, or wire transfer.
• Scammers often use caller ID spoofing to make it appear that they are calling from a government agency.
• They may pressure you to act immediately and discourage you from hanging up or verifying the information.
