Here’s to the biggest shopping day of the year. Make a list, use a budget and be realistic about what you can afford. Make it a personal challenge to find those special gifts at a price that doesn’t blow the budget and checking account. Remember you don’t want a big stressor in January when all those credit card bills arrive. Stay true to what you can do, and stick to it.

Preparing for the big meal can seem almost overwhelming. RELAX, and savor the time with family and friends. Focus on the true importance of the holiday and not the perfection of all the preparation. We all have so very much to be thankful for. Embrace all of the goodness.

Staying well and focusing on our own health can take a back seat as we scurry around preparing for the holidays. Take time for yourself. Add some daily “me time”, to insure there is quality time for everyone else! Take a walk in the morning, some medication time in the evenings, a glass of wine… These small things can make a big difference!

The small group “special election period” has begun. Between Nov.15th and Dec.15th, small groups can enroll without making employee contributions, and with NO minimum group size. This is absolutely the easiest time to start a group health plan…. And get a nice tax deduction.

*A lump or mass in the breast that feels different from the surrounding tissue
*Change is the shape, size, or appearance of the breast
*Discharge from the ni**le
Breast rash
*Changes in the skin over the breast, for example, dimpling
*Breast pain
*Inverted or pulling-in of the ni**le
*Scaling, peeling, or flaking skin over the breast, particularly the dark area around the ni**le
*Redness and/or pitting of the breast skin, resembling the skin of orange
