Last week, Deeley was proud to support the Delmarva Community Manager's Association/ DCMA at the first annual Trunk-N-Treat Community Event, organized by the Worcester County Chamber of Commerce in Ocean Pines and hosted by Taylor Bank.

DCMA brought their creativity to the Halloween Spirit competition and took home 2nd place!

Events like these are a great reminder that strong communities are built when people come together, get involved, and have a little fun along the way. A little ocean air, a lot of great conversation, and plenty of fresh perspective! Today’s quarterly Rise and Shine meeting took us to the Hilton Garden Inn in Ocean City, where our team came together to learn, share ideas, and look ahead.

We were excited to welcome Brooke Liu, Senior Vice President of MarshBerry International, who shared her coast-to-coast perspective on insurance industry trends and hosted a breakout session on the five levels of leadership.

One message really stuck with us: Leadership isn’t about a title. It’s about the influence we have on the people around us. Whether you’re leading a team, running a business, supporting a colleague, or simply showing up for someone who needs you, your attitude, actions, and willingness to help can make a real difference. You don’t need a title to set a positive example, build trust, or inspire others to be their best.

We left feeling energized and reminded that the best kind of growth happens when we invest not only in ourselves, but in each other.💙💚

On Saturday, members of the Deeley team and their families joined the American Cancer Society Making Strides Against Breast Cancer walk in Ocean City, MD, honoring a dear friend we lost to breast cancer earlier this year. We walked in her memory, and in support of the countless women and families whose lives have been touched by this disease.

At Deeley, we believe showing up matters. Whether we’re supporting one another, standing alongside our community, or joining the fight against breast cancer, every step is a reminder that we’re stronger together. Here’s to making strides toward a cure and a future where fewer families have to face this loss. 💗
