Howdy! Here's an update on what's happening at Tucker-Downing and you're probably going to like some of this.
We're no longer sharing an office with Rural Water. That means you get our undivided attention! But it gets better!
Now, we have the ability to not just quote a policy over the phone, we can also issue your policy and get all the necessary signatures through email. THAT'S RIGHT! No more office visits AND you don't have to call some stranger that barely speaks english or use a website where you don't understand what your options are. You can call us directly and we'll quote your insurance, write you a policy AND take care of all your policy needs over the phone or by email!
Now all that's pretty cool but we're taking that one step further!
When we're out of the office, and that includes after hours, you can still call and do everything we can do during regular business hours!
That's right! No more taking off work or having to leave early to do insurance business. You can just call and take care of everything you need and you don't have to take off work to do it!
So, call the office anytime and I'll answer! (provided I'm not with another customer or asleep because it's late at night!)
Now, how's that for some personal service with an agent that has over 35 years of experience?

I'm getting excited about some upcoming events and I wanted to share with you.
First off, I'm retiring from Rural Water soon.
That means I'll be able to devote all my time and attention to Tucker-Downing Agency.
So, to quell some of the rumors started by our local paper, NO I am not retiring totally, just from Rural Water. I'll still be on main street and I'll still be here to help you with your questions or insurance problems.
AND......
Sometime this summer you'll be able to swing by for free coffee and to chat but you'll have to wait on that part.

Howdy! I'm excited about some of the changes that are coming to Tucker-Downing in 2026.
First, let's squash the rumor mill.....
I'm not retiring from insurance. I am retiring from Rural Water within a few months... hopefully. I will continue to be your insurance agent.
Going forward I'll be able to spend more time with you on your insurance needs.
Also.... soon you'll be able to get hold of me even if I'm not in the office. There's more....
Many of the insurance companies I work with now offer options to sign things electronically. That means you don't have to come into the office for a policy. Just call and once we have a quote we can get you started by email AND we can even send you all your documents including your Insurance Verification. No more having to take time off work to make it to the office during normal office hours.
Which brings me to this.... you'll soon be able to take care of ALL your insurance needs after hours. YES! No more taking off work to come by the office. You'll just pick up the phone and I'll be able to take care of everything over the phone and by email!
Same location for now, same great companies and all those years of accumulated knowledge to give you the informaiton to make your decisions easier.
Tucker-Downing Agency is moving into the electronic age and we're really excited about it. There's more to come so look for updates after the new year!

Hello! Cliff posting here....
Very happy to announce that, on top of being a licensed insurance agent, I have now entered the insurance mentoring program made possible by the Oklahoma State Insurance Commissioners office.
In short, because I've been an agent for over 30 years, I'm part of an effort to provide insurance education and information to people that purchase insurance in the State of Oklahoma.
For quite a while now I've been telling those that come into my office to feel free to stop by or give me a call if they're having problems understanding insurance related topics or need help with how to deal with a claim.
It's totally free AND I provide this service to anyone, ragardless of if they are my client or not. It doesn't matter, if you have insurance related questions or issues please feel free to call me.

Something that I do a lot of and I wanted to let you know.
I don't care if you are a customer or not. If you have insurance questions please contact me and I'll do the best I can to help. I've got over 30 years experience as a licensed agent AND because my family has owned this agency for over 70 years I've been around insurance almost my entire life.
So, I'm not going to try and sell you anything. I just want to help. Yeah, I hate insurance too so we can complain about it while I attempt to help you understand it.

Howdy! Are you confused about insurance? Does it seem like there's a lot of fast talk and it leaves you wondering "what the heck"?

Is your agent really reviewing your file?
I don't care if you are my client or not. There are a lot of things you need to know about the insurance business and I would love to answer your questions for you. I've been a licensed agent for over 30 years and I've been around insurance almost my entire life.
Come by and we can have a real talk, not some sales pitch, about what kind of coverage you have, what you probably need and even (if you're curious) why your agent is calling you about the additional coverage you "Need".
I'm not trying to sell you any extra insurance. I'm just trying to help you learn. I may ask to quote you a policy but if that's not what you're interested in then I won't.
