Passing the keys, the torch and the buck!
We would like to congratulate Betty Caudill on her retirement this week. June 30 will be Betty’s last day of work at Latimer County Farm Bureau. If you have a minute, please stop by the office at 202 E Main and give this sweet lady a hug. We will have cookies and coffee in honor of her retirement all week. She has 27 years of service to the office and company but most of all to the members of Latimer County Farm Bureau. She considers members to be her dear friends and family and has always gone out of her way to make members feel that way. She says she will greatly miss working with each and every one of them, however she is ready to stay at home a little more and live life at her own pace. Betty is looking forward to more time with Jay, her kids, grandkids and great-grandkids. She started her time with Farm Bureau working with Norm Clayborn. She enjoyed working with him, they were quite a team. She continues to miss him greatly today. She tried to retire as Norm was turning the office over to his son Casey, but that didn’t happen. She agreed to come back and help out in the office and she enjoyed her decision to do so. She would like to wish the best to Nathan and Jennifer Lucas, Bryce Livingston and Penni McCasland as they continue serving Latimer County Farm Bureau members. She will miss her coworkers and members. We all know Betty and the heart she has for serving others. She is always willing to lend a helping hand, whether it is in the office, at church, in our community, or at home. We know and love Betty for her big heart and words of encouragement that she is always quick to share. Betty will be missed at Latimer County Farm Bureau. Betty is passing the keys and torch of service to her niece Cindy Swaffard. Cindy is the daughter of Kathy Grady and the late Ted Grady. She has resided in Wilburton most of her life and is married to Chad Swaffard. We are excited to introduce Cindy as the newest team member at Latimer County Farm Bureau. Cindy is excited to begin her career in insurance as a customer service representative. The Farm Bureau team knows Cindy will be an asset to the office and to the community in this role. Cindy is known for her big smile, kind heart, and welcoming attitude. Congratulations to both Betty and Cindy!
