The Wichita-area market is staying strong this fall! Here’s a quick snapshot of what’s happening right here in Sedgwick County:
✅ Home Sales Are Up!
Total sales rose 12.6% last month — 654 homes sold compared to 581 in October 2024.
💰 Sales Volume Growth:
We hit $187.8 million in total sales, up 17.5% year-over-year.
🏠 Prices Are Holding Strong:
The median sale price reached $257,000, up from $247,500 a year ago.
Homes sold in an average of just 15 days — and for 100% of list price!
📊 More Homes on the Market:
Active listings climbed to 1,603, up from 1,362 last year — about a 2.6 months’ supply of homes available.
The median list price sits at $299,000.
📝 Buyer Activity Is Busy:
639 new contracts were written in October (up from 556 last year), with 780 homes still pending at month’s end.
