Effective March 25, 2020 our office is running virtually and can assist you via phone or email. Our phone will be the same, 316-681-1470, and there is a mail slot on our door at the office for any payments or documents you may need to deliver.

If we need to meet you in person, please call and schedule an appointment. You can also use your State Farm mobile app or go to statefarm.com for help. Please check our page, Jim Maddox State Farm, for any updates regarding our office.

We want to express our sincere appreciation for the healthcare workers and first responders. You are truly good neighbors.

I'm sure you all know what today is, so there's really no need for us to go on and on about today being a day for celebrating love: the love of someone who has impacted our lives in a way that could never be forgotten, how important they are, the joy they bring, etc. etc.
That being said, it only comes once a year, so we are going to say it anyway!
Happy National Ferris Wheel Day, everybody!
Celebrated on the birthday of it's inventor, George Washington Ferris, National Ferris Wheel day is my most favorite day of the year! While most theme parks aren't open this time of year, Jim brought us chocolate, so we can still celebrate.
For those of you who choose not to celebrate our Ferris Wheel Founder, I'm sure you can find one of those silly, wacky holidays to celebrate instead!

We in the office here are pretty much convinced that the water thieves of old had insurance on their ships- do you have coverage on yours?

Happy Labor Day Weekend!
Did you know the first Labor Day was in 1882 in New York City? It was a "one- day strike" of sorts, complete with a parade and picnic!

Today's holiday: National Spumoni Day!
While most of us in the office are not Italian and had no idea what spumoni is (Italian ice cream type dessert!), we could all agree that ice cream is a great treat on these hot summer days here in Kansas.
