Christian Business League of Kansas Christian Business League is a lead-sharing and networking group dedicated to adding value to like-minded business people and ministries.

Christian Business League is a lead-sharing and networking group dedicated to adding value to like-minded business and ministry people. We are following a pattern that has been developed in other lead cities with much success. Other chapters have seen tremendous growth in their businesses and personal lives! We are reaching out to top Christian business people in the area who have a desire to help support small, Christian business owners and ministry professionals. In the secular business world, staying at the “top of your game” can be difficult! It is important to support each other both spiritually and financially. God is doing great things! Join us as we get to know one another, work together, love one another as Jesus Christ loved us, and give the glory to God. That’s what we are all about. Leadership Team: Susan Scott, Paul Dohm, Mike Purkey, Windy Fry

I know the elections are upon us, and with that, there needs to be a lot of discernment. For me personally, if a candidate’s political positions are not in alignment with God and His Word, I will not be voting for them. I realize that in today’s world, it can be difficult—if not impossible—to find a candidate who lines up perfectly with everything I believe Scripture teaches. But I do believe there are some things that are non-negotiable for me. I also believe it’s important to understand the faith and values that influenced our nation’s founding. Many of our Founders openly recognized the importance of faith, morality, and religion to a free society. I would love to see us move closer to those foundational principles again—but I believe that starts with each of us individually. For me, that means doing my best to honor God every time I vote. And part of honoring Him is being informed. I think www.ivoterguide.com VoterGuide is a good place to start when researching candidates and their positions. It provides research, questionnaires, voting records, and /other information, but even they encourage voters to look beyond a rating and examine the facts for themselves. Ultimately, I want to think for myself, pray for wisdom, and make decisions based on truth and facts—not simply emotions. Emotions can be /powerful, but they can also deceive us and lead us in the wrong direction.
I certainly don’t claim to have all the answers, and I know others may see things differently than I do. But I want to be intentional about seeking God’s wisdom and doing my best to honor Him with the responsibility He has given me.
