Sometimes things happen that really make you stop and reflect. I had one of those days. Two weeks ago I was honored to participate in the Morgan Stanley Women's Leadership Summit. Last week I received my 10-year recognition at Morgan Stanley. In my lengthy prior career as a CPA tax professional, and now as a financial advisor at Morgan Stanley, I can honestly say that women have made great strides - but we are not done. In my current role I LOVE that I can make a difference for women in their financial journey and related successes. The 10 years have flown by and I definitely feel I am where I belong. I am privileged to work at such a great place and honored that I have so many great clients who place their trust in me to protect their hard earned money. Thank you also to my great partners and team at the Waterfront Planning Group. There is nothing better than working with your best friends every day!

What an honor it was to attend the Morgan Stanley Women's Leadership Summit last week in New York. It was a great networking event to learn about the firm's commitment to support a more diverse workforce and the female investor. With more women excelling in their careers, we need to make sure their financial plans exceed as well!
