Lordy! Did we need the time off after 2 years of not really going on a major vacation! We finally got so much sleep during this time around, didn't do much on ship or off. Just soaked in the beauty of Alaska and Seattle, WA.

JJ loved the art fair in Seattle along with me dragging him to the Chihuly Art Glass and gardens. I think he really enjoyed the walk through the Chihuly Glass and gardens. The boat full of spheres was his favorite!

But now we are back and running to catch up on all that we need to do with our rentals, the A-One Salvage Yard stuff, and to get to our odds and ends jobs for some folks!

Very interesting report. Anyone interested in buying acreage with JJ and I where we would like to build dome or prefab homes that are affordable?

It will be interesting to see how many folks will respond to this.

Another job worked and done. Backside and side of business building painted brown and refreshened up.

Now is a good time to be trimming your dead tree limbs out of your trees since the branches have now budded out with leaves. You will be able to see what limbs are truly dead.
This helps to prevent future accidents and property damage to not only your car, but your tenants' car, thus saving you thousands of dollars.

Finally got Del Sienno rental painted, new roof, repaired damaged sofit areas, and new faucet in bathroom.

Not to mention a day and a half spent pulling w**ds to the point of filling up the trash can twice and putting down grass seed and watering it in. Hoping for the best but would not be surprised for another failure, since we have w**d and feeded and overseeded before much less had 2 trees that should have made it but somehow disappeared.

It's going to be another crazy week. But hope to get another paint job done and lots if yard work done between all 12 properties. Praying it rains and remains damp for easier w**d pulling.

Finally, nice to see folks cutting down their dead trees and cleaning dead limbs off of living ones. This so helps the living trees stay strong against the Kansas winds. Removing the dead trees keeps the termites from not oy attacking the dead tree but nearby homes and other structures.

But hopefully, many of you will plant a new tree foe every dead one removed if not add 2 trees.
Trees help bring back the rains, slow down the winds, shade us, and most of all lower the summer temperatures in neighborhood on average of 10-20 degrees cooler than neighborhoods without alot of trees.Thus, assisting in reversing climate change.
