Looking for the perfect holiday treat? 🍫 Peppermint bark is an easy and quick option! Here's how to make it:

Ingredients:
12 oz dark or semi-sweet chocolate chips (or chopped chocolate)
12 oz white chocolate chips (or chopped white chocolate)
1 tsp peppermint extract (optional for extra flavor)
6-8 candy canes, crushed into small pieces

Directions:
1️. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper for an easy cleanup
2️. Melt the dark chocolate in the microwave or a double boiler until smooth. Stir in ½ tsp of peppermint extract (optional). Spread evenly on the parchment and let it cool/harden in the fridge for 15-20 minutes
3️. Melt the white chocolate and stir in the remaining ½ tsp of peppermint extract. Spread it gently over the hardened dark chocolate layer
4️. Sprinkle crushed candy canes on top while the white chocolate is still melty. Lightly press them in to stick
5️. Chill in the fridge until fully hardened, then break into pieces

Enjoy them yourself or wrap them up for a sweet gift! 😉🎁
