Sometimes support doesn’t require the perfect words. šŸŽ€

It can look like:

During Breast Cancer Awareness Month, we talk a lot about awareness—and that matters.

But so does showing up for the people walking through it.

To the fighters, survivors, caregivers, families, and loved ones: you are seen. 🩷

Medicare changes are coming — and October 15 is almost here. šŸ‘€

Medicare Annual Enrollment starts October 15, and this is the time of year when plan details can look different for the year ahead.

Things that may change can include:
🩵 Premiums
šŸ’° Copays
šŸ’Š Prescription coverage
šŸ‘©ā€āš•ļø Providers
šŸ“‹ Benefits

The important thing is knowing what you have, what’s changing, and what options may be available to you.

You do not have to make a change just because AEP starts.

But you should understand your coverage well enough to make an informed decision.

Medicare can feel overwhelming — especially when the mail starts piling up and every commercial says something different. šŸ˜‚

That’s exactly why I’m here.

Questions? Let’s make it simple.
No pressure. Just education and options. 🩵

Just because your prescription is ā€œcoveredā€ doesn’t mean every Medicare plan covers it the same way. šŸ‘€

One Medicare word worth knowing is FORMULARY.

A formulary is simply a plan’s list of covered prescription drugs.

But here’s where it can get a little confusing:

šŸ’Š Your medication may be on a different tier
šŸŖ Your cost can depend on the pharmacy you use
šŸ“‹ Coverage rules can vary from one plan to another

So two plans can both cover the same medication and still leave you with very different out-of-pocket costs.

That’s why prescriptions matter so much when you’re looking at Medicare drug coverage.

Don’t just ask, ā€œIs my medication covered?ā€

Also ask:

What tier is it on? What pharmacy should I use? And what will it actually cost me?

Medicare has a lot of little details like this šŸ˜‚ — but understanding them can make a big difference.

If you’re ever unsure what your formulary is telling you, I’m happy to help you make sense of it.

No pressure. Just education and options. 🩵

Let’s do a little fall roll call šŸšŸ˜‚

Pick your favorites:
šŸŽƒ Pumpkin patch or bonfire?
🧄 Hoodie or flannel?
šŸŽ Apple c***r or hot chocolate?
šŸˆ Football or scary movies?
😓 Early bedtime or late-night porch sitting?

I feel like these answers say a LOT about a person. šŸ˜‚

Drop your picks in the comments — I want to see which side wins! šŸ‘‡

October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month. šŸŽ€

This month is about more than wearing pink.

It’s about supporting those who are fighting, honoring survivors, remembering those we’ve lost, and encouraging the people we love to stay on top of their health.

Awareness matters.

Support matters.

Early conversations matter.

And sometimes, simply checking in on someone can mean more than we realize.

🩷 Support
🩷 Educate
🩷 Encourage
🩷 Remember
🩷 Hope
Together, we are stronger.

If you’ve been putting off a screening or checkup that’s appropriate for you, consider this your gentle reminder to talk with your healthcare provider and get it on the calendar.

Here’s to the fighters, the survivors, the caregivers, and the families walking beside them. šŸŽ€

ā€œMy doctor ordered it…so why does my insurance company still have to approve it?ā€ šŸ‘€

That’s where prior authorization can come in.

Depending on your plan and the service, certain:
🩵 Treatments
🩵 Tests
🩵 Medications
🩵 Procedures
may require approval before the plan will cover them.

And here’s the important part:
Prior authorization does NOT automatically mean something is being denied.

It simply means there may be an extra step in the process before coverage is approved.

And yes…Medicare can sometimes come with a few extra steps. šŸ˜‚

That’s exactly why understanding your plan matters.

The more you know about how your coverage works, the easier it is to ask the right questions and know what to expect.

If you ever get stuck in the middle of an authorization issue or don’t understand what your plan is asking for, I’m always happy to help you figure out where to start.

No pressure. Just education and options. 🩵

October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month. šŸŽ€

A month to raise awareness.
A month to support survivors.
A month to honor those we’ve lost.
A month to encourage conversations about early detection and taking care of ourselves.

Every person’s story is different, but nobody should have to walk through it feeling alone.

This month, let’s check on the women we love, support those currently fighting, celebrate survivors, and keep spreading awareness.

Together, we make a difference. 🩷

Happy National Teachers’ Day! šŸŽšŸ“š

Today we celebrate the people who do so much more than teach lessons.

Teachers encourage.
Teachers inspire.
Teachers support.
Teachers believe.

And sometimes, they change the direction of a child’s life without ever realizing just how big their impact was.

To every teacher showing up, pouring into students, and helping build brighter tomorrows:
Thank you for all you do. 🩵

If a teacher made a difference in your life, tag them below and let them know. šŸ‘‡

What if retirement felt a little less overwhelming… and a little more clear? ✨

A lot of people spend years working hard, saving what they can, and hoping it will all come together when it’s time to slow down.

But one of the biggest questions is this:
ā€œWill my money create the kind of income and stability I actually need in retirement?ā€

That’s where planning matters.
Not just saving.
Not just guessing.
Planning.

There are ways to build more confidence around your future and create a strategy that fits your goals, your timeline, and your lifestyle.

Because retirement shouldn’t feel like crossing your fingers and hoping for the best. šŸ’™

If retirement planning has been sitting in the back of your mind, let this be your reminder to start asking questions now.

You don’t have to have it all figured out to start the conversation.

If you’ve ever wondered what your options may look like, send me a message — I’d be happy to help.
