To my clients: We give you the courtesy of checking in any day M-F, 8-5. A couple of times a month, we actually call anyone who hasn't checked in and get them checked in-2 missed check ins = warrant. We actually give you at least 3 missed check ins. Now....we are calling the same people every single time. We will no longer do this. You can use our text number to check in 940-631-2930, anytime or any day to check in -- Check is will NOT be accepted after 5pm or weekends except on the text phone.
BE RESPONSIBLE, it's your bond.
And to the ones that do what they are suppose to do, YOU ROCK!!

I have to go to DPS to renew this year. The list of things you have to do....

You will need to provide proof of the following to apply for a driver license:

U.S. Citizenship or, if you are not a U.S. Citizen, evidence of lawful presence
Texas Residency
Identity
Social Security Number*
Evidence of Texas Vehicle Registration* for each vehicle you own. Registration must be current. Visit Texas DMV vehicle registration for more information (New Residents who are surrendering an out-of-state driver license only)
Proof of Insurance** for each vehicle you own
*You will need to provide your Social Security Number (SSN). It will be verified electronically with the U.S. government. If it cannot be verified, your driver license cannot be issued or renewed. Learn more about this process at our Social Security Number website.

**If you do not own a vehicle, you will sign a statement affirming this.
