My family and I migrated from Guadalajara, Mexico and settled here in beautiful Whittier making this our forever home. I attended the local schools in the area, La Colima Elementary School, Granada Middle School, and California High School, who I still partner with today as a judge for Senior projects and a sponsor of their sports programs. I love being a part of and giving back to my community. I serve my community through non-profit organizations like the Women and Children Crisis Center, The Whole Child, and programs within the local schools and churches that provide low-income families with resources to help them succeed in school and in all aspects of life. I want to be known as a compassionate leader in my community, helping others in need and for supporting other local small business owners in the Whittier area. I am also an advocate for wellness in our community. I help sponsor organizations that promote mental health and wellness for women, men, and kids. I believe that healthy families foster healthy communities. One of the groups I am a part of is the WOW group, “Women on Wellness.” Along with other community leaders, the organizations mission is to empower women who might be facing challenging times or do not have the resources to commit to self-care. Collectively, we give nominated women a curated gift of wellness. We believe that a woman who achieves and maintains their wellness can reach their fullest potential and thrive with confidence. I have been married to my husband Fabio (who is also State Farm Agent) since April 2008. We have four beautiful children that we raise here in the Historic area of Whittier, they all attend the local schools and participate in the local Girl Scouts, Football, performing arts and other community programs. I am a busy Mom and Wife, but the independence and flexibility of being a State Farm Agent allows me to be there for my family as well as our customers. My bilingual Spanish speaking team of women bring so much knowledge, skills, passion, and energy to our beautiful office located in uptown Whittier.
