Since I have an extra day off I decided to write my legislative people; regarding the hidden tax on home owners. In an open letter to Senator Feinstein, Senator Harris and Congresswoman Sánchez. I hope for them to realize that, now is not the time or really ever to impose a fee to help with capital requirements on Fannie Mae or Freddie Mac. If Fannie and Freddie want to raise capital to be released from conservatorship, don't pass that buck to the consumer.

Apartment rental prices in Los Angeles are expected to rise over 8% over the next two years, according to a study conducted by USC's Lusk Center for Real Estate. The study estimates that rent prices will increase 8.2% in Los Angeles County by mid-2016, at an average of $1,856 a month.
