My name is Ariel Abreu and I am the proud owner of the State Farm office located at 1427 College Point Blvd. I earned the privilege of becoming a State farm Agent December 2020. I say "earned" because a State Farm Agency is not a business you can simply buy, it's a business that has to be rightfully earned and requires a passion for helping others. I grew up in the Bronx in the 90's which was rough as you can imagine. My parents are immigrants from the Dominican Republic. For the last 35 years my father has been serving the NYC community as a cab driver 7 days a week. My mother has been a home attendant for as long as I can remember. My parent's raised 3 children on a low income, and I can proudly say we all went on to obtain multiple degrees. Seeing how hard my parents worked shaped who I am today, I owe everything to them. I never envisioned becoming a State Farm agent, as my degree is in Business and Sports. Though in 2014 I was provided an opportunity to work with an agent in the Bronx and I have not looked back since. Becoming a State Farm agent has given me the opportunity to help my community manage the risk of every day life, recover from the unexpected, and achieve their dreams. State Farm has enabled me to help my community grow and give back to the future of generations to come. I am forever grateful for those who paved the way.
