I’ve been a bit quiet on here, but it’s simply because I was busy helping so many new friends buy houses!! 🥳 Today my 10th closing of the week and 27th for the month closed. July was busy, incredible, exhausting, and amazing. Thank you to everyone who trusted me to help them, their clients, their family, their friends… I hope you know how grateful I always am to earn your trust and your business. 🫶🏻 I’m thankful to be enjoying a long weekend up north boating with friends and family to wrap up the month. And excited for August and the chance to help more new friends! 🏡🙌🏻💙

Words cannot adequately express the gratitude that I have for the folks in this photo. 🥺 From being repeat clients to twisting their family’s arms 😉 into letting me help with their purchase, too, this couple was already on my best-clients-of-all-time list. 🥰 Add in the fact that they went with the flow when procedural items dragged a bit and trusted me wholeheartedly when I promised that we’d make this one happen before the seller headed on vacation - “thank you” isn’t enough… but I hope they know how much I appreciate them. 🫶🏻

A big thank you to their realtor, Gaby, as well, for dealing with the last minute scrambling. And to my boss-lady, Lisa, who helped make closing today happen. 💙 This job is definitely for the big-hearted, but not the faint-hearted!! 😂

Closing Day for one of my favorite couples!! 💙 This great little family is moving into a brand new home 🏡and while they’re clearly the winners on the day, I’m finding myself a close 2nd. Thank you, Luke & Brooke for being amazing to work with throughout the process of prequalifying and then patiently waiting for your home to be built. You two are always a pleasure to work with. 🫶🏻 And while the prizes were unnecessary, you picked some of my faves!! 🤤 I’m definitely raiding the liquor cabinet tonight to make myself a spicy 🌶️ marg!!! 🥳💃

From application to final approval on a VA loan in 13 days during the craziness that is summer-season. 😵‍💫 Not a bad way to head into the 4th of July holiday weekend!! 🎆 Super excited to start next week off with a bang 💥 and close on this one for the buyer and sellers! ❤️🤍💙

Just when I think that Closing Day 🏡 can’t get any better, my borrowers {and dare I say, my new best friends 💚} gifted me homemade pickled Michigan-asparagus. 🥺 Everyone wins today!! A great new home for Joe & Kirsten and a fantastic and tasty prize for me!! 🤤

2 closings today 🥳 and also 2 separate clients who did not get their offers accepted and/or were beat out due to cash/non-contingent offers coming through 😢. I'm not sure which of these events was more impactful. Closings are THE BEST, don't get me wrong. But emails and texts from clients (both the husband and wife for one of them!) who didn't get their offers accepted (darn cash offers! lol) but were still SO GRATEFUL 🥺 that I spent time on a holiday weekend (last weekend's offer was accepted and then a non-contingent cash offer took over today 😫 ) and/or a Sunday night to make their offers even possible... 💙 I don't need to be recognized... but when I am... 🫶Sometimes even losses are a win.

Two closings 📄 , 128.5 miles round trip {electric vehicle for the win!} ⚡️, too many hours in a car, a handful of client calls while driving 📱, a 2-hour pit stop to borrow WiFi between closings and knock out work {libraries are the BEST!!} 💻 , two juice boxes consumed by my clients’ kiddo 🧒 during closing, three juice boxes consumed by me while commuting 😂…. Allllll worth it to be there at closing day for my awesome clients!! 🙌🏻🩵🍾🏡

This is kinda' cool... And in even cooler news, I'm 4-for-4 on buyer consults this week ending with the words "you've made this so much more clear and easier to understand" after sitting down and chatting through the buying/financing process. I even got a "you've restored my faith in humanity" from someone who'd felt very pressured and subject to a "sales pitch" from other lenders.

Awards are fun... but I will always be exponentially more grateful for the relationships!

I’m not sure if it was the post-Spring-Break-blahs 😒, all of the rain ☔️ we’ve been getting, the fact that I had a couple of “fun” files (think silly repair items “needed”, logistical nightmares in scheduling closings… not anything that couldn’t be overcome… just a little extra imagination and time!) … but it’s felt like a long week 😩! And I usually never feel that way!!

However, TGIF!! 💜 It’s all sunshine ☀️ and rainbows 🌈 {and unicorns 🦄 , flowers 💐, Skittles 🍬, and cotton candy 🤤!!!} today!! Three final approvals (one in only ✋🏻days!), appraisals coming in ahead of schedule and at great values, borrowers sending documents before I even ask for them…. And the day isn’t even over yet! Ahhhhhhh. Bliss. 😮‍💨🙌🏻🫶🏻

It was a great week celebrating Spring Break 2026 with my favorite people. We hiked, biked, enjoyed gorgeous mountain views, checked out local hangs, had slow mornings and quiet evenings… and, of course, I worked a bit, too. Grateful for a week filled with a ton of fun with my family… and also thankful for the ability to hot spot from a mountain bike trailhead (amongst other places) in order to lock rates, send final approval emails, and make sure all ran smoothly for my clients!
