SO MANY EMOTIONS can get tangled up with money. Just sending a warm reminder that your value as a person and the value of your bank account are two COMPLETELY separate things. Taking the fear out of the equation can be a game changer in tackling your financial goals. Allow it to be an empowering, not overwhelming, process. Sending love. 💕

If you wait until the 'right time' you may be waiting forever. Life rarely slows down - let's make time to do a financial wellness check. Even a quick 30 minutes can accomplish a lot, and your peace of mind is so worth it!

Kids bouncing around in the background?
No judgement. I've got two rambunctious toddlers of my own.

Can't meet til your next day off, which is Sunday, or over the holidays?
I'm flexible.

Didn't love the financial advisor you met with a while back, but still wanting to get stuff taken care of?
Try someone new. I'm accepting new clients and promise to listen and keep your goals as my priorities. No pressure. Ever.

The average life expectancy is increasing and the cost of living is on the rise. Self-funding, using insurance to cover costs, or spending your assets down until you are Medicaid eligible are all options. Curious to stress-test your retirement plan with each scenario? Let's chat!

My 2 favorite insurance benefits to opt into (even though you have to pay for them):
- additional long-term disability insurance
- additional life insurance (if you have medical diagnosis that make it tough to get privately)

I'm on the fence about:
- employee paid short-term disability insurance (The reason - if you have an adequate emergency fund, the short-term payout with something like this typically isn't worth the premiums paid in the long run. The caveat - if you're planning on getting pregnant - then opt in!)

This is a great time to double-check your 401k contributions as well.

Benefits packets can be overwhelming. They don't have to be. Let's find a time to chat, look it over together, and make sure you're signed up for what actually suits you!

Just because a provider is “in network” isn’t a guarantee that you won’t have to pay more than your deductible. Check with your insurance to make sure your provider is “tier 1”, “premium”, or whatever the wording specific to your policy is. In my case, it’s a difference of a few thousand dollars each year.

Annoying to look into? yes.
Worth it? yes.
