Ten years ago, I carried a million overstuffed boxes into my dorm at Binghamton University, brimming with fear and excitement. I never could have predicted how this place would change my life.

I was challenged in ways I never expected. I was pushed to grow, lead, and think bigger. New friends, mentors, and professors laid the foundation for everything that was to come.

A decade later, I’m walking back onto campus to teach TWO financial literacy workshops for current students!

It’s so cliche, but “shoot for the moon, land among the stars” is ACTUALLY TRUE!!

how I still manage to dress myself:

- my friends and I clothes swap whenever we clean out our closets. “BAG INCOMING!!!!”

- I wash on cold & hang dry so items last longer. I’ve had the dress in pic #1 for 12 years! throwback item

My reasoning:
- fashion is so wasteful. this keeps my clothes out of a landfill or incinerator!

- less junk accumulates in my house

- I save money to invest & travel more

former chef + artist = the hostess with the mostest

As a first timer, I was a little nervous…I didn’t know what to expect!

I ended up having the best time, making friends, and scratching a creative itch that I didn’t know needed scratching.

I guess looking at a screen all day just leaves something to be desired. Who knew? Lol

Grateful for the cozy atmosphere at slip studio that gave me the freedom to create. I’m sooo proud of my board!!!

My grandfather sold life insurance and made BANK on the commissions.

He told me not to buy any. Investing in insurance products makes more money for the salesperson.

Salesperson is dead set on convincing you to buy, when you probably don’t even need life insurance.

I’ve never seen a compelling argument to choose whole life over term, when you compare the fees.

Please convince me otherwise:
