On Tuesday I had the pleasure of donating a 5x8 U.S. Flag to the Marshall County Commission during their regular business meeting. I had noticed that the flag currently flying proudly in front of the courthouse was coming close to the end of it's glory and due to be retired in the near future. Pictured are Commissioners "Big" John Gruzinskas (obviously on the left), Scott Varner, myself (the shortest in the photo and I had asked not to stand directly next to Big John) and Dave McLaughlin. I can't wait to see the new flag flying proudly!

Since 2002, WoodmenLife chapters have been conducting In Honor and Remembrance ceremonies. This year, WoodmenLife chapters held 29 ceremonies to pay tribute to the victims, survivors, First Responders, and all those affected by 9/11. We will never forget their sacrifices and how they made our nation stronger through their actions. We will light the WoodmenLife Tower red, white and blue tonight in their honor
