For many EB-5 investors, source of funds is one of the most important —and underestimated— parts of the immigration process. USCIS does not simply want to see that the investment capital exists. Investors must clearly document how the funds were earned, transferred, gifted, inherited, or accumulated, and provide a transparent path from origin to investment.

Whether funds come from salary income, business proceeds, property sales, gifts, loans, inheritance, or US-earned income, strong preparation and organization can make a significant difference in the success of an EB-5 filing.

In our latest blog, we break down what USCIS looks for in EB-5 source-of-funds cases, common challenges families face, and practical ways investors can prepare early to build a stronger petition. Read the full article here: https://hubs.li/Q04gRP1x0

Featured in the piece, Shilpa Menon, Managing Director, Commercial at LCR Capital Partners, explains that while traditional employment-based categories remain heavily backlogged, EB-5 offers a distinct advantage for eligible applicants.
