30 years ago today, I started my agency career with American Family Insurance. It took a leap of faith—and a lot of encouragement from my friend Jim Nick, who kept telling me, “You can do this.” Turns out, he was right.
So much has changed over the years, but what’s meant the most are the relationships: fellow agents, customers, business partners, and the community organizations we’ve supported together. I’m proud of this career—bumps and all.
I want to thank my Team members (past and present) for being with me through a lot of change, growth, challenges and successes. Your faith in me and dedication to our customers has meant so much.
As all good things must eventually come to an end, I want to share that I’ll be retiring on 6/30/26. Thank you for being part of the journey. While I've enjoyed this wonderful part of my life, it's time for a lot more golf, relaxation and less worrying---mostly about storms. P.S. Enjoy this black and white photo from 1996. Apparently, JC Penney studio didn't have color back then.
Peace, my friends!
