Rate gets all the attention because it's the easiest thing to compare. But the deal your borrower actually remembers isn't the one with the best number — it's the one that closed when you said it would. Or the one that didn't.

Misconception #1: "Investment property loans take months to close." Not at Velocity. Our bridge loans and specialty products are built for speed. When the right deal comes along, waiting months isn't an option — and it doesn't have to be. The right loan can close in days, not months. Speed is at the core of everything we do.

Misconception #2: "Velocity Mortgage Capital is a non-QM lender." We hear this one a lot — and we get it, the lines can blur. But Velocity is a business purpose lender. That's a meaningful distinction. Our products are purpose-built for real estate investors, not general consumer mortgage borrowers. What we offer is in a category of its own.
