LTCR Pacific

LTCR Pacific Long-Term Care Resources (LTCR) is a national insurance agency and marketing company dedicated to long-term care insurance and the senior market.

We are one of the leading, independent long-term care insurance distributors in the country. Since our founding in 1997, we have helped over half a million members with their long-term care planning needs. We designed this Group Long-Term Care Benefit Program based on years of experience in the industry and based on our own families’ needs. Let us help your family, too!

When one spouse needs long-term care, the financial pressure on the other is often severe and immediate. The cost of a nursing home or assisted living facility can deplete decades of shared savings in a matter of years -- leaving the healthy spouse with far fewer resources than either of them planned for. Long-term care insurance addresses this directly, and LTCR Pacific's agents can walk you through how a policy would work for your specific situation. Call (800) 499-0067 to get started.

Being independent doesn't mean we have access to just one carrier. It means we can shop the market, compare policies across multiple providers, and find the combination of rate and coverage that actually fits your needs. That's a significant advantage, and it's one of the reasons LTCR Pacific has helped over half a million people plan for their long-term care needs since 1997.

Most people assume Medicare will cover nursing home care if they ever need it. It will not -- at least not in the way most people expect. Medicare covers short-term skilled nursing care under very specific conditions, and it stops paying after 100 days regardless of whether you still need care. What happens after that is a question most people have not answered.

Long-term care isn't just for the elderly. A serious accident, a chronic illness, or a sudden disability can require long-term care at any age. Planning ahead, before you need it, is the only way to make sure you have real choices about the type and quality of care you receive.

Most traditional long-term care insurance policies include a waiver of premium clause, meaning once you start receiving qualified care, you can stop making premium payments. It's one of the most important parts of your policy, and one of the most overlooked. Make sure you know whether yours has it.

Statistically, at some point in a person’s life, they’ll need some form of long term care. While we hope that day is far away, those that have long term care insurance likely will, eventually, need to access it – often at a time in their lives when they’re not working and, potentially unable...

Here's something most policyholders don't think about until it's too late: inflation doesn't just affect groceries and gas. It affects the cost of long-term care too. A policy that covers your needs today might cover significantly less in 20 years. Ask your agent about inflation protection riders before you sign.

The single most important factor in determining your long-term care insurance premium isn't your health. It isn't your location. It's your age. The earlier you get coverage, the less it costs. If you've been putting this off, that delay is costing you money.

Insurance can feel complicated at times, as you try to determine the total amount of your policy, how fair your premiums are, and whether or not the details of the policy are advantageous to your long term financial status. Within every insurance policy are pages upon pages of details that outline e...

Most people assume Medicare will cover their long-term care needs. It won't. Medicare covers short-term skilled nursing care after a hospital stay, not the extended, ongoing care that most of us will eventually need. Long-term care insurance exists specifically to fill that gap.
