Latest client's bathroom redesign. Typical 50's ranch bathroom, cramped and dark.
We stole space from the living room coat closet to add a walk in shower and swapped out the built in tub for a jetted freestanding soaking tub for a little luxury. We created a wainscotting around the room with a pretty oversized white tile with a subtle wave pattern and continued it around the tub and into the shower to unify the space. A dark gray hex tile on the floor grounds the space and keeps it from being washed out.
Dark gray stained vanity for some warmth, classic marble quartz vanity top, brushed nickel accents and a soft beachy teal for the walls!

We did a quick, inexpensive kitchen update for a client
The cabinets are solid oak and in great shape. The layout was working well too, so we worked with what we had!
We had the oak cabinets, baseboard, window trim and French doors professionally painted in a creamy white to compliment the gorgeous granite. We then added new modern hardware in a brushed nickel and moved it down to a more traditional location on the face of the cabinet.

Let's talk about those terrible orange wood floors. Do they need to be replaced? No!!!
Here's how to modernize them and bring them Back2Life. The secret is water-based urethane!
These are beautiful oak floors with multi-width planks and pins for visual interest. They go perfectly in this 1930s New England home. But their pretty wood tone turned orange over the years under oil based urethane.
We stripped them down to bare wood and coated with a water based urethane in a satin finish. They'll live on another 100 years!
