Keep on reading if you would like to learn more about my background and why I love what I do. As a child, I remember telling my parents that I wanted to be a businesswoman when I grew up. They supported my aspirations and pushed me to be the woman I am today. My parents, being from the Dominican Republic, taught me the importance that our culture places on values such as family, community and loya
lty. We take care of others and hold our relationships close to our hearts. These principles translate into the work I do with my clients. I am extremely passionate about helping other people, and that is why I chose to have my career at Edward Jones. The people I want to connect with are hardworking professionals who have built a successful career for themselves and want to successfully navigate life transitions. They value the design and implementation of strategies that protect, grow and transfer their wealth. As first-generation college graduate, I have a unique drive and dedication, which are qualities I also look for in my clients. Becoming a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER®, or CFP® professional, has expanded my knowledge as a financial advisor in the following areas:
• Financial management
• Retirement savings
• Insurance planning
• Education planning
• Estate considerations
In addition to the education and examination components of certification, I have also committed to abiding by the CFP Board's Code of Ethics and Standards of Conduct. In my role, I help my clients work toward their long-term financial goals by using my established process to understand what is most important to them about their financial future. I understand the weight these financial decisions carry and that they require clarity and a high level of trust, which I prioritize in every client relationship. I have always wanted a career where I left a true impact on people’s lives and for generations to come. With my dream role, I get to meet new people all the time. I find ways I can add value to their lives and help make their dreams and legacies become a reality.
