RE: Nationwide Auto Hail Claim Procedure
As a client of McCartan Insurance Group, Inc. we truly value your Relationship and Business. The hailstorm last Friday afternoon impacted many of you, so it is important to us that you have the most current and correct claim procedure information.
Despite what you may have heard or read; an appointment is required for the Nationwide Auto Claims Drive Thru Center at the Home Depot in West Des Moines (3700 University Ave).
All Nationwide Auto Insurance Claims from the recent hailstorm will only be handled by the Nationwide Auto Claims Drive Thru Center.
If you have already filed an Auto Insurance Claim but you have not yet been contacted by the Nationwide Claims Department you will want to call 1-866-321-1260 in order to schedule an appointment.
If you have not yet filed an Auto Insurance Claim you have 2 options:
1)Call the Nationwide Claims reporting line at 1-800-421-3535 and start a claim. Be sure that you ask to set up an appointment at the local Nationwide Auto Claims Drive Thru Center if the representative inadvertently does not ask you to set up an appointment.
2) File your claim on-line at nationwide.com. You will need to select “Get an in-person estimate only” and hit Continue towards the end of filing your claim. The next screen allows you to select your appointment date and time at the Nationwide Auto Claims Drive Thru Center.
